The SMiLD project partnership made contacts with web sites focusing on the field of scientific education.

 

The SMiLD project was presented to the web masters and a link to the SMiLD project portal was made so that those who will access the selected web sites can also access, through a direct link, the SMiLD portal.

Elementary school number 73 "W. Anders" in Wroclaw, partner of the SMILD project, spreads the principles of the project through its page dedicated to collaborations with Italy.

I Liceum Ogólnokształcace im. Władysława Broniewskiego w Świdniku is a secondary school for students from grades 9-12 (15-19 years old). 420 students attend the school and 32 teachers work there.

Students, teachers and parents actively take part in various school projects, both local and national in order to use innovation and exchange of good practices. The school cooperates with numerous organizations and educational institutions, e.g. Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Catholic University in Lublin, Economics and Innovation School in Lublin, Lublin Technical University, Unicef Poland, The Centre of Civil Education.

GoScience

The aim of the GoScience project is to promote students' creativitiy with the aim of making scientific knowledge better understandable and increae their functional literacy in STEM subjects.

The projects and activities of cultural promotion, in which Dante Alighieri of Wroclaw is involved, meet the need to increase and improve the services of cultural structures, to create a centre of excellence, which also allows to obtain the necessary qualifications and skills to the personal development of the city inhabitants. Thus improving the quality of the services offered by institutions and companies in the Lower Silesia region, of which Wroclaw is the capital.

The MathE project has the aim of enhancing the quality of teaching and improving pedagogies and assessment methods.

Massimo Amato's Website

The professor Massimo Amato is a professor of Mathematics and Physics at the "Niccolò Machiavelli" High School since 2014 with organizational responsibilities and support for school management. The professor is active in participating in activities that can be of help to students in scientific subjects.

The professor inserts in his personal website some information regarding particular activities or topics related to mathematics and physics to help students to have curiosity about these disciplines.

The "Niccolò Machiavelli" High School in Florence articulates its training offer in the following study fields:

    International Linguistic High School and International Scientific High School (with common biennium)

The new system came into force starting with the first classes in the academic year 2010/2011 for the Liceo Classico, for the Liceo delle Scienze Umane and for the Liceo delle Scienze Umane - Economic-Social option. Instead, both the structure of the International Linguistic Lyceum and the structure of the International Scientific High School remained unchanged, with the important novelty of the bi-national exam which gives the students of both courses the Italian State Diploma and the French Baccalaureate (ESABAC) .

The Liceo is located in Via Santo Spirito, 39 and the branch in Piazza Frescobaldi 1. Entrambei, the historic buildings, located on the southern bank of the Arno River, are of particular cultural interest.

The Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) is an applied inter-disciplinar research unit that clusters together active researchers from the fields of Electronics, Computer Science and Mathematics.
