Activity concerned:
IO1 - Toolkit for tackling Learning Disabilities in Math

Objectives of activities carried out:
The main objectives were:
- Translation of questionnaires A1 and A2 to the Portuguese language.
- Contact with 5 schools from Bragança city.
- Apply 10 questionnaires A1 and A2 to 10 math teachers.
- Creation of questions for questionnaires B1 and B2.
- Analysis of questionnaire B1 and B2.
- Develop interventions and monitoring tools.
- Apply interventions and monitoring tools.

Description of activities carried out:
December 2018: Contact Lília Marcelino, a Portuguese psychologist that does research in Dyscalculia at Portugal.
December 2018: Analysis of questionnaires A1 and A2 with math teachers at IPB.
January 2019: Translation of questionnaires A1 and A2 to the Portuguese language.
January 2019: Meetings with math teachers for testing activities from: 5 schools; 10 Math teachers; 100 students.
February 2019: Availability and collection of the results of questionnaires A1 and questionnaires A2 and submit the questionnaires in the portal.
April/May 2019: Creation of questions for questionnaires B1 and B2.
August 2019: Analysis of the questions presented in the questionnaire B2.
November 2019: Questionnaires B1 answered by 200 students.
January 2020: Questionnaires B2 answered by 12 students.
March 2020: 6 interventions tools and 2 monitoring tools were being designed
June 2020: All the intervention and monitoring tools were completed.
January 2021: Two interventions tools were applied.

Results Achieved:
The main results were:
- Questionnaires A1 and A2 in Portuguese language.
- Questionnaires filled by teachers.
- Online submission of the questionnaires.
- Questions for questionnaires B1 and B2 have been created
- Results from questionnaires B1 and B2
- Development of 6 interventions tools and 2 momitoring tools
- Intervention and monitoring tools were created
- Intervention and monitoring tools were reviewed
- Application of 2 intervention tools (2 students) due to COVID 19 pandemic.
