This section allows a constant communication and sharing of information among the project partners as far as the activities for the different intellectual outputs are concerned.

Each project partner upload this section of a three months basis.

Objectives of activities carried out:
The project management carried out throughout the first project period have to ensure the correct development of the project activities and the achievements of the expected results.
It is divided into 4 main activities:
- Coordination of all activities
- Dissemination
- Exploitation
- Evaluation

The coordination activities include:
- Planning of all the activities related to the project for the 2 years of project life.
- Participation in and organisation of 4 transnational meetings of the steering committee.
- Update of the project website.
- In progress reporting activities and delivery of yearly reports at progress and final stage.
- Constant sharing of information through e-mails and skype meetings.
- Building all templates needed for carrying out the activities.
- Monitoring of the project state of the art and respecting the deadlines.

The dissemination activities consist of:
- Creating the identity of the SMILD project, more specifically the logo and the brochure of SMILD project.
- Translating the brochure in English.
- Planning the dissemination of the project.
- Making the project accessible to the hugest possible number of school teachers, school directors and policymakers, students and families.
- Sharing the project results with the highest number of operators in the field of education and with the highest number of citizens.
- Spreading the project activities and results on the most popular Social Network (i.e. Facebook).

In order to promote the project sustainability, the exploitation actions to be carried out are:
- Promoting the SMILD Portal through the exchange links with Portals addressing similar issues (e.g. Portals providing educational materials for teachers; portals on scientific subjects, etc.).
- Promoting the among public authorities and key policymakers in order to gain institutional consensus and promoting the insertion of project results in policies for Education.
- Encouraging new schools to join as associate partners.

Finally, with the aim of measuring and ensuring the quality of all the activities and of the project intellectual output, the Evaluation activities require the involvement of both project partners and end-users that will have to fill in ad hoc questionnaires.
Description of activities carried out:
Activity Coordination
Recruiting young researchers at UNIGE DIMA
UNIGE DIMA, in cooperation with Pixel, produced the material for the kick-off meeting in Florence (6-7 December 2018) and took care of the partners and in that date signed all the contract.
UNIGE DIMA worked on all the organizational aspects, as for example project documentation, financial procedures, contact with the schools.
During the first meeting, the DIMA team showed how the intellectual outputs have to be done and all the partner had tried to start a little exercise about the intellectual output 1. The Calendar of Activities had been showed as an instrument for all partners to have a complete and resumed view over the activities of the project in all its length.
Planning of all the activities of the project for the 2 years project life
Participation in transnational meetings of the steering committee.
Update of the project website.
In progress reporting activities and delivery of yearly reports at progress and final stage.
Constant sharing of solutions and the circulation of information through e-mails and skype meetings.
Check of the project state of the art and of the respecting of the deadlines.
Distribution of the grant to the partners.
Monitoring of the state of the art of the partners' activities and transfer of funds
Monitoring of UNIGE DIMA costs.

Dissemination
Organising meeting with school directors and teacher at the Mathematics Department of the University of Genova to present the summary of the project
Engaging Art School in order to produce the logo and the brochure of the project
UNIGE DIMA team contributed to the creation of the project’s brochure in English and assured that the partners did the translation in their national languages and checked it.
Making the Project Portal accessible to the largest possible number of science school teachers in secondary schools, students, school directors and policymakers in charge of education policy definition.
Sharing the project results with the highest number of operators in the field of education and with the highest number of citizens.
Spreading the project activities and results on Facebook.

Exploitation
UNIGE DIMA team, in collaboration with PIXEL, created the templates and forms to be used by the partners for carrying out the exploitation activities.
UNIGE DIMA team is also in charge of the checking of the exploitation material produced by the partners.

Evaluation
The internal evaluation of the project’s activities is carried out according to an evaluation model developed by Pixel and checked by UNIGE DIMA.
According to the evaluation model adopted, for every single project stage, an ad hoc “Evaluation Questionnaire” has been checked.
UNIGE DIMA also checked the evaluation questionnaires to be used by the end-users for the evaluation of the project intellectual outputs.
UNIGE DIMA is in charge of the production of the transnational evaluation report.

The project management achieved a good manner to manage the project, ensured the correct development of the activities and the expected results.

Meetings with directors and teachers of secondary schools took place
New associated partners have been involved
Teachers and school administration of school associate partners have been informed about the project
The project has been disseminated in several national and international meeting.
