Activity concerned:
IO2 - Guidelines for the management of Learning Disabilities in Math
Objectives of activities carried out:
Analysis of the SMiLD brochure.
Discussion and analysis of the planned activities and expected results.
The aim of this activity is also to develop a guideline divided in 3 chapters:
- the first chapter deals with the legislation, policies and strategies to cope with Learning Disabilities in Math in the different partner countries.
- the second chapter consists in an analysis of the consequences of Learning Disabilities in Math in the everyday life.
- the third chapter deals with the instruments that help teachers and families to tackle such Disabilities.
Read and analyze the guidelines for the management of the Learning Disabilities in Math.
Adapt of the contents of the guidelines for the management of the Learning Disabilities in Math.
Description of activities carried out:
- Liceo Machiavelli, in cooperation with University of Genova, will follow the activities in order to produce the guideline.
Chapters translation.
- Informing the school about the project´s aims and expected results
- Adaptation of the contents of the guidelines
- Writing of the guidelines
- Commenting of the guideliens
- Traslation of the chapters
- Review of the guidelines
Results Achieved:
- Presentation and analysis of the templates for carrying out the activities.
- The contents of the guidelines were adapted
- The chapters were written and sent.
- The chapters were commented.
- All chapters are translated.
- The final version of the guidelines was obtained
